Add a display at the bow, helm or another suitable viewing position without replacing your sounder. Available sonar, chart and navigation functions depend on your connected Garmin equipment.

Choose the screen that suits your setup

Full HD — 15.6″, 18.5″, 21.5″ and 23.8″

A 1920 × 1080 display with 1500-nit brightness provides a clear, spacious view of compatible sonar and chart screens. Choose a smaller model where mounting space is limited or a larger screen for more comfortable viewing from a distance.

WUXGA — 17″

The 17″ model features a 1920 × 1200 panel, a taller 16:10 format and 1500-nit brightness. It provides an alternative for installations using a compatible video output.

4K UHD — 17.3″, 18.5″, 21.5″ and 23.8″

A native 3840 × 2160 panel displays the additional detail supplied by a compatible 4K source. These models offer a higher-resolution option for selected Garmin systems.

The 17.3″ model features 1300-nit brightness, while the 18.5″ and 21.5″ models feature 1500-nit brightness.

To take full advantage of a 4K panel, your Garmin must supply a compatible 4K video output. Connecting a lower-resolution source does not create additional sonar or chart detail.

Clear viewing in bright conditions

Anti-glare surfaces help reduce distracting reflections, while optical bonding improves clarity and helps minimise internal fogging.

Automatic light sensing adjusts brightness as conditions change, with manual adjustment available through the monitor’s controls.

Touchscreen lockout for rain and spray

The dedicated touch on/off control lets you disable touchscreen input during rain or heavy spray, helping prevent unwanted commands.

Your picture remains visible while touch input is disabled. Restore touchscreen operation when you’re ready to use it again.

Mounting to suit your boat

Bracket mounting provides flexibility when positioning your screen, while flush mounting can create a tidy installation in a suitable console or panel.

TideForm 3D’s specified mounting packages include powder-coated stainless steel brackets, front-accessible screen controls and hardware for bracket and flush installation. Check the inclusions for your selected model.

Always refer to the correct installation drawing before cutting a mounting panel, and allow clearance for cables and connectors.

IP67 protection for marine use

Full IP67-rated enclosures and waterproof connections help protect the monitors against water and dust when correctly installed.

The 10-point capacitive touchscreen features 2 mm chemically strengthened cover glass with a 7H surface-hardness rating. Passive, fanless cooling keeps operation quiet.

Flexible power options

These single-HDMI MATRIX models accept 9–36V DC input for a range of boat power systems.

TideForm packages specified with an Australian-standard-certified 240V AC adapter also allow setup and use with a suitable mains supply. Check the power accessories included with your selected screen.

Garmin compatibility and connections

MATRIX uses HDMI for the display image and a separate USB connection for touchscreen control.

The range includes options for compatible Garmin GPSMAP 8400/8600 and 9000/9200 series units, plus selected Garmin Black Box systems. Compatibility depends on the exact Garmin model, the chosen MATRIX screen and the supported video output.

Not every screen and Garmin combination provides the same resolution or touchscreen behaviour. Please contact TideForm 3D with your full Garmin model number before ordering so we can confirm the appropriate screen and connection requirements.

A video connection alone does not enable touchscreen control. These models are external HDMI displays, not Garmin Marine Network displays.

Preorder with a 30% deposit

Where preorder is offered for an out-of-stock screen, reserve yours with a 30% deposit. The remaining 70% is payable once your screen is ready for dispatch.

In-stock screens are purchased through the normal checkout at full payment.

Please note: MATRIX requires a compatible connected Garmin system. It does not contain its own sonar or chartplotter. Garmin displays, Black Boxes, transducers and sonar modules are not included.
